Present Continuous:
Used for actions happening now or around the present moment.

Past Perfect:
Used for actions completed before another action in the past.

Used Together:
When used together, they describe a sequence of past events. Present Continuous shows what was happening at a specific time, while Past Perfect shows what had already happened before that time.
